pure southern seas. These optimum living conditions and the high food supply accelerate mother-of-pearl production. The growth period of the South Sea pearl is at least 2 to 4 years for top quality
and size.
The Pinctada Maxima oyster gives these pearls a very thick pearly layer, a velvety opalescence and an indefinable range of colors.
